Wow...I guess everyone's moved on to facebook or myspace. lol. well wuz up yall? i know i havent updated in a while. I'm in Tulsa now...yup living the college life. It's not all it's cracked up to be. or maybe that's just because i still dont have a car and this campus is really boring. whatever. my summer job was great- got some really cool experiences and my boss(es) were really lenient. oh! btw- i worked at a medical clinic. (yay! go me for starting on med school prep already!!!) SO....Tulsa... is really hot, kinda reminds of Grenada in the sense that it'll start raining out of no where (it's rained a lot). Classes are ok- my schedule's not bad either. i'm taking Bio lab and lecture, chem lab and lecture, humanities, english, and PE. oh yeah...the FOOD SUCKS here!!!!

k- I know it's been forever since i've updated so here's an update: graduation was awesome and a very memorable night. thanks to all who came to support me- it meant a lot. project graduation was...not as great as class of 05's but i still got a chair and...a shirt. (lotta good that'll do me).
I started my first job on Thursday- just one day after graduation. Let me tell you- I have the ideal job. *grins* i'm super-lucky. Yeah- i work at a clinic on 29th street (Cypress) and i dont have to work weekends and get off on 12 on fridays. It is the greatest. So if you wanna do something *cough* Holly *cough* then just holla at me.
Got alot more to say but there's too much to write on this so....ttyl maybe.
oh yeah-GO TO THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS THIS WEEKEND AT WSU IF YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO.
you may just see me there ( i know that's what you want) and no Christine- i'm not participating in it- just supporting my cuz.

WEll, the jig is up. i think if i get the money i'll be going to Oral Roberts. If not, then Sterling. Deciding on a college has been one of the hardest decisions i have ever made in my life.

WENt to prom. Prom was nice. Was treated like a queen, told that i looked beautiful and in some cases unrecognizable, went to a restaurant that had GREAT food and GREAT tiramisu ^^, and went flying over the city. It was wonderful.
HEY JESS, AM I EVER GOING TO GET THAT RECIPE FROM YOU?????
Holly- I know exactly what you mean- seems like when you get to the point where you're just like "I'm done being fat" that's when things start to come together. You go girl. Ride that pilates video.

9:37 am - Addia's long-awaited update!!!!!!

I finally got my prom dress!!!! It's *drumroll* BLUE!!!!! ^^ So happy that's good 'n done. Now it's on to hair and nail appointments and jewelry and shoes! Fun fun!!
Turns out that I got $2000 from both wsu and KU but my parents are still all gung-ho for wsu and against ku. *sigh* that'll never change. SO now i'm also lokking at Sterling and Oral Roberts. Think i'll probably visit both. Sterling offered me $9000 and my godmother has offered to pay for Oral Roberts, which is more expensive than any other college i've looked at so.... I dunno.
Saw the ex-love of my life yesterday. He looked happy and i'm happy for him. My Psych teacher is pissin me off. here's a scenario to explain how he is with everything he does:
Jamie and I are sitting in class looking over our tests. Neither of us are happy cuz the test questions were retarded and we both did bad on it. The teacher is talking about random stuff: jumping back and forth on subjects as students ask questions. Jamie raises her hand and asked the teacher when our next assignment was due. The teacher clearly acknowledges her, listens to her question, and then turns around. Both Jamie and I lean forward to hear his response....and he starts writing on the board. We look at eachother like WHAT???? Cuz he's drawing all kinds of diagrams and stuff that has NOTHING to do with the VERY straight-forward question. We died of laughter. So this guy that hears us turns around and tells us what we wanted to know...and then he laughs too.
and that's what i have to deal with from that teacher all the time.
Gonna do the Musical Review aka Griffinology. For those of you who dont know that's a collection of songs from different musicals that's performed by a cast that will dance as well. It's great. Everybody Should Come. Holly better be there. So that's it for now cuz i gotta finish my hmwrk before class which starts in about thirty minutes. ^^

Weelll- been busy with scholarships- it's kinda funny though- my parents are all over me...wanting me to get scholarships in but the more they push the harder it is to get stuff done...
went to a musical performance last night...it was ok- sound was kinda messed up and the music was covering up the singing (there was pretty much no dialogue so the songs were really important). But I enjoyed it regardless.
Been dealin wit some stuff- not really drama- and for once I can advise my friends without getting myself too involved.
Haven't been getting as much friend time as id like but my parents are keepin me on a short leash so that really sucks...
i gotta get back to stuff- missed the grammy's- wanted to see performances. oh well. finally got my visit scheduled for college visit so...yeah. to much to think about. tryin to stay cool when everyone else is actin stupid or somethin...
oh yeah-- congrats christine!!! holly- talked to rachel and she had some pretty interesting stuff to say...ttyl bout it.

Hey! welp- first semester has been alright so far. I've been contemplating dropping out of AP physics for a while and figured i'd get the job done today....but my counselor gave me "the Look" and i caved in to stay in the class for a few more days. Man- he not only gave me the look he pulled a guilt trip on me too! Made me feel awful!
I wanted to get out and do protoring for my drama teacher= less homework ^^
Hey! I got a compliment today! and found out that people LIE when they say i'm ugly or hideous!!!! *grrr* but anyways- discovered some kinda-secrets and pretty much enjoyed my day.
I love how i spaced out all through my physics quiz and still ended up with a B. ^^ We're reading Beowulf in english- funny cuz i read it back in middle school- and it's actually interesting. I have one of the best english teachers evar!!!!! *smiles* i'm so lucky...um...I think i may have scared him though- i kinda snuck up on him from behind..^^ Hey! hope yalls semesters are goin great!

Gaaah! I think i feel a headache comin on....i ate at Timberline for the first time a couple days ago. It was delicious!I think they have the BEST strawberry daiquiri i have ever tasted there! *laugh* i think i'll probably go back today.
My younger sibs are gone. I thought i'd miss them but i really dont. maybe it's the circumstances. Whatever.
My parents keep on hasslin me bout scholarships- sayin that if i dont get none i wont go to KU...and i still cant get myself to get on it. *sigh* Speaking of KU: they lost to K-state *tear* but the Steelers beat the Colts!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!! Not that any of you would know or care about that. Whatever.
For once i dont want any starbucks. I'm sure that'll change in a couple of hours. How in the world can i get all healthy if i'm addicted to coffee- no, not just coffee, STARBUCKS????????????

so- the International Thespian Society Convention for troups in Kansas is finally over. It was pretty fun: got to miss Friday school for it. But, as another member of my group said, I soon realized that I was skipping school for school. yay.
But the workshops were interesting enough. I actually learned something-not just for improving my acting skills but also for shooting a film-which is something a friend of mine has wanted to do for a while. Greeat tips!
I got to see some amazing performances: The boys next door, dames at sea, the fantastiks, etc. I was really impressed with the actors and actresses.
At the end awards were given. I was hoping Northeast would at least get silver, if not gold, for fulfilling the year's requirements, but we ende up getting bronze. Still, i'm happy we got somethin, ya know?

Happy New Year Erybody! Last night was nice. My first New years eve with friends. VERY nice change.
Well...finally got in my college application-but I still have to send in my transcripts...man what am i gonna do when i dont have anyone to remember stuff for me like my mom- i mean- she's like my personal organizer or something!Maybe that's why i'm so lazy...
Been working on my school projects. This year I did neonatal nursing for my annual science project. Today I went to Wesley thinking that one of my mom's associates was gonna hook me up with some medical instruments for my model/presentation. Turned out that i not only got my tools, but also a personal interview plus a tour that included seeing this baby that was like six or seven inches long. It was awesome! It's mouth was so tiny!
So now all i gotta do is finish the rest of my research etc.
Man- it kinda sux that break is almost over- went by so fast! But now i get to see all my people at school *so happy*

Hmmm...back in town again...left just yesterday to see a dying man...who just so happens to be...uh...not dying anymore.
Had to put up with annoying sibs all the way...found out that i was given books to read at the perfect time seeing as how i read all the way up and back *wink* thanx jess!...
got to see two of my cuzzins that i hadn't seen in forever..plus a puppy that cost like two kidneys and a liver (400 bucks) but looked remarkably plain...
got some great Ethopian food when i got back: man! that was some great tastin goat!...
found out about relatives buying a live goat, killing, etc. and cooking it all themselves....decided that i'd never get a live goat and kill, skin, etc. it myself-although i may buy the meat from somewhere and fix it...
got kinda frustrated when i found out the Buggy was workin but i couldn't go kick it wit her for a while...
tried to work on college stuff...ended up doin this instead...which reminds me...

Man. I just wanted to have a half-decent Christmas this year. But already stuff has started to happen. My mom got a call this morning from a really close friend of hers that is kinda like a godmother to me. Bad news of course: her husband just had a heart attack and is in the hospital...probably for Christmas. Plus, this lady's brother JUST died like...a couple months ago. *sigh* I think she'll pretty much be alone for Christmas...and that makes me sad. My dad doesnt want to stay in town for Christmas even though we finally got into the Christmas spirit this year (more than other years) and have a tree up with nicely wrapped presents underneath. I dont wanna go anywhere!
Holly- i'm sorry i wasn't there to meet you yesterday- i called ur house though but u weren't there. I dont know how you felt but i woulda been pissed if i were u so...sorry again. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

Hmmm- i kinda feel bad..today is my mom's b-day and i didn't get her anything. I got home today after school and my brother walks in with these roses and wishes my mom happy birthday and im like...*i'm such a bad daughter*. Ack- and now my little brother just came in and says "ooo- who gave her those roses?" *ouch* um...i need to do college apps. it's definitly time.....

welp....just got done with the ACT...dont think i did better. i did something really stupid that'll bother me till i get the test back: i changed an answer thinking i was helpin myself only when i looked again, i realized it was wrong. then the timer went off= i got the problem wrong. nice one i say *slaps myslef* just brilliant!

wow- its cold. i'm the kinda person that usually will be cold but my body will be very warm. This year, however, i wash my hands in the bathroom at school and they'll get really cold and stay cold for several minutes. I wonder what caused that change. Man- i've got a really easy paper to write, but i REALLY dont want to do it. You people that went to East are kinda lucky in the way that you're not RIDICULOUSLY lazy, which is what NEM has made me. Hmmm- had my IEP recently. My teachers had wondurful comments, blah, blah, blah. I'm definetly a good student guys! but during the whole meeting the staff kept on STARING at me. No, not polite glances or temporary eye contact, full, outright staring. it made me very uncomfortable. But afterwards i got to go out and eat so i was happy. ^^ I *heart* Applebees!
